Vikas Berry

Vikas Berry received his BS from Indian Institute of Technology–Delhi in 1999, and a PhD from Virginia Tech in 2006 following an MS from University of Kansas in 2003. He is currently the Department Head and Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at University of Illinois at Chicago and was previously a faculty member at the Kansas State University (2007-2014). He and his group members study the electrical, structural, and chemical properties of innovatively designed nano- and bio- materials to enable the development of the next-generation-applications in biomedicine, electronics and nanomechanics. He is married to Namrita Berry and has two daughters: Bianca and Kiara.
