Research Interests:
My research focuses on building novel nanomaterial assemblies for applications as nanobiosensors, nano actuators and electronic memory devices. Recently we built a “molecular spring” nano device which can be reversibly compressed and stretched by electrical and mechanical forces. The unique molecular device architecture was shown to store energies that can be potentially used to power future molecular devices. I am currently investigating an in-solution and template based approach for device fabrication using gold nanoparticles and nano sheets of graphene.
